Indo-China ties under "severe stress", agreements must be respected, says S Jaishankar

Yes, it is true that “India-China” ties under „severe stress‟ and the agreements made by two sides over  

the past 2 years must be respected to restore normalcy.

Both the country India and China are trying to resolve the dispute along the Line of Actual Control

(LAC), which began in may, but neither side has backed down. Sometimes China come forward and

capture the areas of India. China is continuously involving in border crossing, and they do not follow

international ethics.

The Indo-China agreement was made on 1993 on the basis of five principles of peaceful co-existence,

mutual respect, sensitivity for each other concerns, aspirations and equality. But now-a-days they are

constantly demolishing the rules and regulations made in the agreement and they are detaining our

soldiers also, which is a direct attack on the ethics and morals of a country. The entire country was hurt

and angry by actions of China at the LAC in which 20 Indian soldiers were martyred.

If any soldier is detained in these disputes, without any reason, just for piece of the land, this is very

shameful incident. Along with soldiers his whole family pays the compenstation for that. Some lose

their husband, some of them lose their father, brothers and friends. The family got paid for the

compensation of the death, but what about the lives. Will they be back again? The simple and straight

forward answer is no.

Everyone should think about peace and brotherhood. Instead of piece of paper they should be real life

friends. Otherwise a time will come when no one will remember “humanity”. This one word

“Humanity” will become extinct.

If both country will not be in brotherhood, along with lives they will also affect the GDP of the

country, because when this border tensions are going on, the export-import business of both country is

temporarily blocked. In short term this will have a huge impact on trade relation between both

countries. The Indian public is constantly demanding for bann on chinese products. The chinese

product also which are available right now, their price are very high.
